I've been booked for more and more structured networking events lately for a variety of organizations. These events are a cross between a networking mixer and a networking seminar. The goal is to give participants lots of practical tips as well as hands-on practice on the 3 essential skills for networking. Members and guests connect with one another in a more organized and meaningful fashion than the typical cocktail free for all.
My next event is for the Massachusetts Chapter of SWEP (Society for Women Environmental Professionals) and will be held at the Garden in the Woods in Framingham, MA.
